With LivePresss, more than one author can contribute to a live blog post simultaneously. There are several ways multiple authors can contribute:
Multiple Authors in Wordpress
More than one person can contribute simultaneously from the Wordpress interface. Simply log in from Wordpress and follow the instructions for Live Blogging via Wordpress. If both authors are pushing updates to the same live post, both sets of updates will appear on your blog. This can (theoretically) be done with as many users as you want. Note that each Wordpress user account must have at least Author status to post.
Multiple Authors Using Other Methods
With multiple ways to contribute to a live blog post, you can also have authors contributing simultaneously from other sources. Once author can log in via the Wordpress interface and set up the additional author/s/ as Remote Authors on the live blog post. Once these remote authors are set, they can contribute to the live blog post via Twitter in real time. Other authors can be contributing via SMS as well. Any combination works...whatever works for you!
The only restriction to multiple authors contributing simultaneously from various platforms is if the live blog post is started via Twitter with the #Lpon command. In this scenario, that author is the only one who can contribute directly from Twitter to that live blog post. However, if another author logs into the Wordpress interface and sets up Remote Authors on the same post, then others could contribute from Twitter at the same time.
