When you are viewing a live blog post, the top box on your post screen features the Live Blogging Tools. These tools offer an array of additional useful features while live blogging. You can also see from the status at the right how many comments you've received, how many remote authors are on the post, and how many people are currently online for your live blog event.
The first box shows comments received during the live blog event. Any time a visitor or user posts a comment to your event, they will appear in this box.
The Twitter Search box allows you to find comments made on any topic via Twitter and add them to your live blog post with a simple button click. Enter your search term in the box (without the hashtag (#) ) and click "Add Search Term". You will see all comments with that term on the right side in real-time. When you find one you want to add to your blog post, hover over the comment and click "Send to Editor"
This will add the comment to your editor. When you then click "Push Update", you will see the Twitter comment added to your live blog post.
MANAGE REMOTE AUTHORS
This box allows you to add remote authors to your live blog event. Accounts added to this post will have all of their Tweets automatically added to the live blog event.
The final box, Author Notes, is simply a place for post authors to add notes to each other. These notes will not be published, but provides an internal memo space for authors.
